On April 11th, Bronx Brilliance returned — this time to Inspiration Point in Hunts Point — for Funding the Future. With a standing-room-only crowd, we came together to spotlight financial access, share fellow updates, and celebrate momentum across the Bronx.
Majora Carter opened the evening with a powerful call to invest in local brilliance, followed by a sharp panel discussion moderated by Byron Logan of M&T Bank with Richard Reynoso (Accompany Capital) and Carolyn Katz (SCORE NYC). We also welcomed NYC SBS Commissioner Dynishal Gross and NYC Chief Business Diversity Officer Michael Garner, underscoring the public sector’s commitment to growing Bronx businesses.
A special moment of the evening was hearing from our CEA Cohort 2 fellows, who shared impressive Q1 milestones and their outlooks for Q2. Their energy and progress set the perfect backdrop for the night.
Big thanks to Daniel Freeman, Executive Director of Inspiration Point, for hosting us in a space full of community spirit — and to Events by Yudy for the food that kept everyone fueled for great conversation.
Thank you again to M&T Bank for sponsoring this gathering and believing in Bronx entrepreneurs.
Applications for CEA Cohort 3 open in May — if you know a Bronx-based founder ready for the next level, send them our way.
